RESOLUTION 1990-34 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING UPGRADING OF THE FINANCE <br />DIRECTOR POSITION AND FILLING OF SAID POSITION <br />WHEREAS, The City Council acknowledges the need to improve its <br />accounting and financial control system to deal with growth and required <br />changes in the City finance department; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Mr. Ronald Otkin continue employment as finance director for the City <br />of Hugo effective January 1, 1991, as per the following conditions of <br />employment: <br />A. Employee shall be classified as a regular, full-time employee, and <br />shall be eligible for employee benefits. <br />B. Employee shall be permitted to work a flexible schedule involving <br />evenings, weekends, and a normal workweek, as approved by the City <br />Administrator. (Minimum 2,080 hrs/year.) <br />C. Employee shall be paid at the rate of '26,000 per year for the <br />employment period beginning January 1, 1991. <br />D. Employee shall be paid at the rate of $29,000 per year for the <br />period beginning January 1, 1992. <br />E. This employment arrangement shall be subject to extension through <br />19939 if agreed upon by the employee and employer. <br />F. Employee shall be provided health and dental insurance, as offered <br />through the City's group health plan, subject to employee payment of <br />5% of the premium cost for dependents. <br />G. Employee shall be provided up to $300 annually for tuition <br />reimbursement for job-related courses taken during employment with the <br />City, as per the City's personnel policy, Subd. 25E. <br />H. Employee shall be entitled to all benefits, and is subject to <br />provisions of the City's personnel policy. <br />Upon roll call, the following members voting AYE: Jesinski, Vail, Olson, <br />McAllister, Atkinson <br />Voting NAY: NONE <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 5th day of <br />November, 1990. , / <br />son, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary Creager, Ci Clerk <br />
