RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL SEALCOATIN8 FUND OF 1993.
WHEREAS, The City of Hugo is in the process of upgrading its municipal
streets by the bituminous surfacing of approximately 10 miles of roadway
in conjunction with Phase One of the City's Capital Improvements Program;
and
WHEREAS, Numerous subdivision developments have been approved
involving the construction of bituminous streets, and
WHEREAS, other roadway improvements have been made pursuant the
Chapter 429 of the public improvement code, and
WHEREAS, the city may be required to patch and sealcoat newly
constructed roadways as a part of an ongoing street maintenance program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
That the special sealcoating fund of 1993 be in hereby is established and
that certain bond proceeds for road construction, developer's deposits,
and general fund deposits be placed in said fund;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That monies deposited in said funds shall be
used for the purposes of improving the roadways in Phase one of the City's
Capital Improvements Program and other roadways identified therein.
Upon roll call the Council members voting AYE: McAllister, Olson, Vail,
Atkinson
Upon roll call the Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 5th day of
