RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT. RECEIVING REPORT., AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
#12-21-87 (120TH ST. /COUNTY RD. J ) .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUS04 WASHINGTON
COUNTY. MINNESOTA:
WHEREAS. It is proposed to improve 120th Street from Trunk Highway 61
to a point approximately 1.06 miles to the east by the improvement of
street, curb and gutter. and storm water improvements and to assess the
benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429; and
WHEREAS,, a report has been prepared by White Bear Township engineer,
Robert E. Toddie (Tolz. King. Duvall. and Anderson) with reference to said
improvement, and this report was received by the City Council on 12/21/87;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has agreed to participate in a joint project
with White Bear Township for the improvement of 120th Street as per
Resolution 1987-66; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the city to combine the 120th Street
Project with the Homestead Drive/125th Street/130th Street project,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY. MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance
with their report. and assessment of abutting property for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statute.,
Chapter 429, at an estimated cost of the City's share of the
improvement of $75,000.
2. The public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
21st day of March, 1988 in the Council chambers of City Hall at 7:00
PM, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
Upon roll call the following members voted AYE: Arthur Potts, Robert
Olson, Deane Vail, George Atkinson.
Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: Theodora Peltier
ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 16TH DAY OF FEBRUARY. 1988.
