RESOLUTION 88--38 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR INGERSOLL AVENUE <br />P.I. PROJECT #5-2--88(A). <br />WHEREAS, as a contract has been let for the improvement of Ingersoll. <br />Avenue from County State Aid Highway #10 north approximately 3700 feet by <br />the improvement of bituminous surfacing and related improvements and the <br />contract price for such improvement is $ 44 289.00 <br />v and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement <br />amount to $ 11 072.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will <br />be 558,361. 00 <br />NOW THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br />I. A portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is <br />hereby declared to be NONE, and a portion of the cost to be assessed <br />against the benefited property owner is declared to be $ 55, 3 61R00 <br />R <br />2. Assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments exte <br />ndin <br />over a period of 10 years, and the 1st of the installments to bepayable <br />on or before the ist Monday in January, 1989, and shall bear interest at <br />the rate of 9 1l2% per annum from the date of the adoption of the <br />assessment resolution. <br />3. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city consulting engineer, <br />shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for <br />such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land <br />within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br />provided by law, and shall file a copy of the proposed assessment in his <br />office for public inspection. <br />4. The clerk, shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, <br />notify the Council thereof. <br />Upon roll call the following members voted AYE: Robert Olson, Theodora <br />Peltier, Deane Vail, George Atkinson <br />Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: NONE <br />ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 15TH DAY OF AUGUST,, 1988. <br />E <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary Creager, Ci Clerk <br />son, Mayor <br />
