RESOLUTION 88--38 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR INGERSOLL AVENUE P.I. PROJECT #5-2--88(A). WHEREAS, as a contract has been let for the improvement of Ingersoll. Avenue from County State Aid Highway #10 north approximately 3700 feet by the improvement of bituminous surfacing and related improvements and the contract price for such improvement is $ 44 289.00 v and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $ 11 072.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be 558,361. 00 NOW THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA: I. A portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby declared to be NONE, and a portion of the cost to be assessed against the benefited property owner is declared to be $ 55, 3 61R00 R 2. Assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments exte ndin over a period of 10 years, and the 1st of the installments to bepayable on or before the ist Monday in January, 1989, and shall bear interest at the rate of 9 1l2% per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. 3. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city consulting engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of the proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 4. The clerk, shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
