RESOLUTION 1987-31
A RESOLUTION VACATING A ROADWAY EASEMENT AS PER PETITION
OF HOWARD SCHLETTY AND LYLE ZERWAS.
WHEREAS, there was presented to the City Council of the City
of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, a verified petition signed by
the following property owners: Theodora R. Peltier, Leona M Stachowiak,
Richard J. Stachowiak, Florence R. Rodrigue, Howard W. Schletty,
Ralph S. Schletty, Robert L. Schletty, Raymond J. Rogrigue, Ruth M.
Schletty, Lois M. Schletty, Sherri A. Schletty, Norine L. Beckman,
Brian Beckman, Diane K. Taggart, Michael Taggart, John S. Schletty,
Carol Jean Schletty, Eugene Paul Zerwas, Lyle D. Zerwa:, and Charlotte A.
Zerwas, requesting the vacation of the roadway easement described
herein, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council having deemed it expedient that the
matter of said petition be filed with its City Clerk, and that a hearing
thereon be held in the Council chambers of the City Hall on March 2,
1987, at 7:00 PM, and that the City Clerk give notice of hearing as
provided in Minnesota State, and:
WHEREAS, the City Council being satisfied that due notice of
said hearing has been given as provided by law, and after due investigation
and consideration of said petition and the testimony adduced in support
thereof, there being no appearance and opposition thereto, and being
satisfied that said petition should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, that the following described roadway
`easement be in hereby is vacated and discontinued to -wit: A strip of land
sixty (60) feet in width, the centerline of which is described as follows,
vis; Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter (NE4 of NW4) of Section Twenty-eight (28), Township
Thrity-one (31) North, Range Twenty-one (21) West 648.4 feet west of the
Southeast corner of said tract, running thence North and parallel with
the east line of said tract 416.4 feet.

Upon Roll call, the following Councilmembers voted AYE:
Robert Olson, Arthur Potts, Deane Vail, George Atkinson
The following Councilmembers ABSTAINED: Theodora Peltier
Whereupon said Resolution was declared passed and adopted this 2nd day
of March , 1987.
