RESOLUTION 1987-46 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN RETIREMENT BENEFITS <br />FOR THE CITY OF HUGO FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION. <br />WHEREAS, the financial report prepared for the Firemen's Relief <br />Association for the period ending 1987 reflects the ability to increase <br />retirement benefits without the need for an additional tax levy, and <br />WHEREAS, said increase does not increase the retirement benefits <br />of those individuals who have retired from the City of Hugo Fire Depart- <br />ment prior to January 1, 1988; <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Hugo, Minnesota, that the retirement benefits for qualifying members of <br />the Hugo Fire Department be increased from $400.00 per year of service to <br />$500.00 per year of service effective January 1, 1988. <br />ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 21ST DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />
