A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN RETIREMENT BENEFITS
FOR THE CITY OF HUGO FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the financial report prepared for the Firemen's Relief
Association for the period ending 1987 reflects the ability to increase
retirement benefits without the need for an additional tax levy, and
WHEREAS, said increase does not increase the retirement benefits
of those individuals who have retired from the City of Hugo Fire Depart-
ment prior to January 1, 1988;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hugo, Minnesota, that the retirement benefits for qualifying members of
the Hugo Fire Department be increased from $400.00 per year of service to
$500.00 per year of service effective January 1, 1988.
ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 21ST DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1987.
