RESOLUTION 1987- 54 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING 1988 SALARIES AND BENEFITS <br />FOR REGULAR AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA That the salaries for regular and part-time employees be set as <br />follows for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1988: <br />City Clerk/Treasurer <br />Deputy Clerk/Secretary <br />Custodian <br />Utilities Superintendent <br />Fire Chief <br />Assistant Chiefs <br />Fire Chief and Assistants <br />Firefighters <br />Firefighters (probationary) <br />Firefighters stipend* <br />After five years <br />After ten years <br />Laborer, Part-time <br />Administrative Intern <br />Election Judges <br />Road Superintendent <br />$12.90/hour <br />8.85/hour <br />5.95/hour <br />13.95/hour <br />1,200.00/year <br />300.00/year <br />7.28/hour <br />5.2O/hour <br />4.20/hour <br />50.00/year <br />100.00/year <br />5.50/hour <br />6.00/hour <br />5.00/hour <br />* Requires attendance at 75% of meetings and drills. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the salary of the deputy clerk/secretary be reviewed on July 1, <br />1988 for possible adjustment pending performance on special projects <br />as assigned. <br />2. That the Friday after Thanksgiving be established as a holiday for <br />regular city employees effective January 1, 1988. <br />3. Regular city employees be provided up to eight (8) hours bereavement <br />leave annually effective January 1, 1988. <br />4. That regular city employees be provided reimbursement for tuition and <br />materials required for job-related training subject to receiving a <br />passing grade and course participation approved by the City Admini- <br />strator. <br />Upon roll call the following members voted AYE: Peltier, Potts, Olson, Vail <br />Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: NONE <br />ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 19th DAY OF October , 1987. <br />
