A RESOLUTION SETTING 1988 SALARIES AND BENEFITS
FOR REGULAR AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY,
MINNESOTA That the salaries for regular and part-time employees be set as
follows for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1988:
City Clerk/Treasurer
Deputy Clerk/Secretary
Custodian
Utilities Superintendent
Fire Chief
Assistant Chiefs
Fire Chief and Assistants
Firefighters
Firefighters (probationary)
Firefighters stipend*
After five years
After ten years
Laborer, Part-time
Administrative Intern
Election Judges
Road Superintendent
$12.90/hour
8.85/hour
5.95/hour
13.95/hour
1,200.00/year
300.00/year
7.28/hour

4.20/hour

* Requires attendance at 75% of meetings and drills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the salary of the deputy clerk/secretary be reviewed on July 1,
1988 for possible adjustment pending performance on special projects
as assigned.
2. That the Friday after Thanksgiving be established as a holiday for
regular city employees effective January 1, 1988.
3. Regular city employees be provided up to eight (8) hours bereavement
leave annually effective January 1, 1988.
4. That regular city employees be provided reimbursement for tuition and
materials required for job-related training subject to receiving a
passing grade and course participation approved by the City Admini-
strator.
