A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING DOUBLE PERMIT FEE CHARGES
WHEREAS, The City of Hugo has been experiencing numerous incidents of
individuals proceeding with land -use changes or building construction
without securing the appropriate permits, and
WHEREAS, correcting these incidents requires a costly effort on the
part of the city,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, That the zoning and construction permit
application fees be doubled for permits involving land -use changes or
construction that has started without securing the appropriate permits in
advance, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any pesons
from fully complying with existing codes or ordinances in the execution of
the work nor from any other applicable penalties.

Theodora Peltier, Arthur Potts, Robert Olson, Deane Vail
Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: NONE
