CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, MINNESOTA
HELD: DECEMBER 17, 1984
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington
County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City
Hall in said City on the 17th day of December, 1984, at
7 o'clock P . M.
The following members were present:
Theodora Peltier, Dean Atkinson, Charles Schwab, James Hauer, Michael McAllister
and the following were absent:
Member McAllister introduced the
following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 1984-19
RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRM-
ING CERTAIN ACTIONS RELATING TO
THE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE LAKE AIRE
ESTATES AREA
WHEREAS:
A. The City of Hugo, Minnesota (the "City")
has issued its $295,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds
of 1984, Series A, to finance various improvements in the
Lake Air Estates area of the City (the "Improvements"); and
B. On June 20, 1984, the Council received from
Birchwood Builders, Inc., a petition requesting the construc-
tion of the Improvements and the assessment of the entire
cost thereof against its property; and
C. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections
429.031, Subd. 3, and 429.035, the Council determined that
all owners of real property abutting upon any street named
as the location of the Improvements petitioned the Council
to construct the Improvenents and to assess the entire cost
against their property, and ordered the Improvements;and
D. To better confirm such actions taken by the
Council with respect to the Improvements it is advisable to
ratify and confirm them by this resolution:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Hugo, Minnesota as follows:
1. This Council has heretofore determined that the
petition dated June 20, 1984, from Birchwood Builders, Inc.,
has been signed by the one hundred percent (100%) owner of
the property affected by the Improvements, and that said
petition is sufficient as specified in Minnesota Statutes,
Sections 429.031, Subd. 3, and 429.035, and said determinations
are hereby ratified and confirmed and made anew.
2. This Council has heretofore determined that it
is advisable, expedient and necessary that said Improvenents
be constructed, and that the same be ordered made, and said
determination and the ordering of said Improvements are
hereby ratified and confirmed and made anew.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolu-
tion was duly seconded by member Peltier and
after a full discussion thereof, and upon a vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister
and the following voted against the same: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and
acting Clerk -Treasurer of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, DO
HEREBY CERTIFY that I have compared the attached and fore-
going extract of minutes with the original thereof on file
in my office, and that the same is a full, true and complete
transcript of the minutes of a meeting of the City Council
of said City, duly called and held on the date therein in-
dicated, insofar as such minutes relate to the construction
of improvements in the Lake Air Estates in said City.
