BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo has been petitioned
by a number of its residents to seek intervention by the Metropolitan
Council in the matter of the White Bear Rod and Gun Club's request for
a license in Forest Lake Township, just north of the boundary of the
City of Hugo, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo feels, at this time,
that a joint meeting between the Forest Lake Town Board and the City
Council of the City of Hugo to be a mare appropriate response;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Hugo
respectfully requests the members of the Forest Lake Town Board to
take no further action on the request of the White Bear Rod and (dui
Club for a facility in Forest Lake Township until its two governing
bodies have met.
ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS 22nd DAY OF February , 1983.
