A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PRE -REVIEW REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires
local governmental units to prepare comprehensive plans and submit
them to the Metropolitan Council for review; and
WHEREAS, this plan entitled City of Hugo Comprehensive Plan
represents the response of the City of Hugo to the requirements
of the Land Planning Act; and
WHEREAS, this plan was reviewed by the Planning Commission
after much public input; and
WHEREAS, the Hugo Planning Commission recommended it to the
City with their approval on April 22, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on May 12,
1981; and
WHEREAS, this plan was considered.and accepted but not
adopted, by the City bf Hugo on May 12, 1981; and
WHEREAS, this plan was tranmitted on May 13, 1981 to the
following affected jurisdictions for formal review under the
Metropolitan Land Planning Act:
1. Washington County
2. Anoka County
3. Ramsey County
4. Forest Lake School District #831
5. Mahtomedi School District #832
6. White Bear School District #624
7. Stillwater School District #834
8. City of Lino Lakes
9. May Township
10. Forest Lake Township
11. Columbus Township
12. Grant Township
WHEREAS, this plan shall be transmitted to the Minnesota
Department of Transportation concurrently with submission to the
Metropolitan Council for formal review under the Metropolitan Land
Planning Act.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, that the Mayor is authorized and directed to submit this plan
to the Chairman of the Metropolitan Council for review under
Section 473,175 of the Metrpolitan Land Planning Act.
ADOPTED AND PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 22nd. DAY OF JUNE, 1981.
