A RESOLUTION INITIATING THE RECONCILIATION PROCEDURE FOR THE
METROPOLITAN COUNCIL SYSTEM STATEMENT FOR THE CITY OF HUGO,
MINNESOTA.
The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County,
Minnesota, determines that:
WHEREAS, a Metropolitan System Statement for the City
of Hugo was issued dated June 23, 1977, and was received July
1, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the final System Statement contains errors,
omissions, and ambiguous statements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it essential for the
best interests of the City of Hugo to initiate the Reconciliation
Procedures based upon Minnesota Statutes 473.857 and the
Reconciliation Procedures adopted pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
(1) The City of Hugo, Minnesota requests and hereby
initiates the Reconciliation Procedure for the
Metropolitan System Statement for the City of Hugo,
pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes
473.857 and the Reconciliation Procedures and Rules
adopted pursuant thereto.
(2) The description of the disagreements, and the
specification of proposed amendments to the System
Statement are embodied in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
(3) The hearing on the Reconciliation is to be
conducted by the State Office of Hearing Examiners.
(4) On passage and adoption the City Clerk shall be
directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the
Chairman of the Metropolitan Council.
