EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpg3ila r meeting of the
City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, was held at the City Hall in
said City on mo,a,,,--, Jul,- 7th 1974, at 7.00 o'clock P.M.,
with the following members present: Crever, LaValle, Leroux, Lease
and the following members absent: Bjorum
Howard A. Kuusisto, Consulting Engineer, then presented detailed plans
and specifications for construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1973-1.
After such plans were thoroughly examined and discussed, member LaValle
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR
CONSTRUCTION BIDS ON SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1973-1.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, as
follows:
(1) The detailed plans and specifications heretofore prepared by Howard
A. Kuusisto for construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1973-1
are hereby approved and ordered filed.
(2) This Council shall meet on Monday, February 4, 1974, at 1:0 0 o'clock
P.M., at the City Hall in the City of Hugo, Minnesota, for the purpose
of receiving and considering sealed bids for the construction of said improve-
ment, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said
meeting to be published in the official newspaper and in the Construction
Bulletin, once at least three weeks prior to the date of said meeting, which
notice shall specify the time and place of the meeting, the nature of the work,
that sealed bids for said work must be received by the City Clerk prior to the
time of said meeting, accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond
in the amount of at least 5% of the respective bids, that the Council reserves
the right to hold such bids for a period of 40 days without award and the right
to reject any and all bids without explanation and to waive any informalities.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded
by member Leroux
; and upon
a vote being taken,
the following
members
voted in favor thereof:
Crever,
LaValle, Leroux,
Lease
and the following members voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

1, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
City of Hugo, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof
on file in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript
thereof insofar as said minutes relate to approving plans and specifications and
calling for construction bids for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1973-1.
