Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
City Administrator Mike Ericson and Parks Commission Chair Roger Clarke
INTRODUCTION OF CANDIDATES
City Administrator Mike Ericson explained that the City of Hugo had received applications from
three very qualified applicants. The two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission were
created by the resignations of Kitty Cheesebrow and Charles Kirk. Council interviewed Russ
Schmidt and Melissa Parker, as well as considering the application from Anthony Groff, who was
not able to attend the interview. After discussion, Council agreed that all three would do a very
good job and instructed City Administrator Mike Ericson to place the names of Russ Schmidt and
Melissa Parker on the next agenda for formal appointment. Staff will contact and meet with
Anthony Groff, as well.

Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to adjourn at 8:14 pm.
