PLAN UPDATE
Mayor Fran Miron called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

ABSENT: McRoberts, Moore, Rosenquist
PARKS COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Clarke, Schmidt,
ABSENT: Berger, Gabrelli, Groff, Parker, Pedersen
EDA COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Arcand, Bever, Klein, Miron
ABSENT: Denaway, Granger, Thistle
STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan
Bear, Associate Planner Rachael Simone, Community Development Assistant Michele Lindau,
Planner Kendra Lindahl, and City Engineer Jay Kennedy
2008 Comprehensive Plan Discussion on Goals and Strate¢ies
Lindahl explained to workshop attendees the process and timeline for the Comprehensive
Plan Update. Staff provided the group with the summary of the SWOT comments and a draft
of the goals and strategies compiled from these comments. The workshop participants
divided into groups, discussed the goals and reported back as a group. Participants also
discussed the lack of workshop attendees and made suggestions on how to increase
participation in the 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update.
