PLAN UPDATE
Mayor Fran Miron called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
ABSENT: Granger
PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Kleissler, McRoberts, Rosenquist, Schumann,
Weidt
ABSENT: Moore and Bailly
PARKS COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Clarke, Gabrelli, Parker, Pedersen, Schmidt,
ABSENT: Berger and Groff
EDA COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Arcand, Bever, Klein, Miron
ABSENT: Denaway, Granger, Thistle
STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan
Bear, Associate Planner Rachael Simone, Community Development Assistant Michele Lindau, and
Planner Kendra Lindahl
2008 Comprehensive Plan Discussion on Goals and Strategies
Lindahl explained to workshop attendees the process and timeline for the Comprehensive
Plan Update. The participants were provided three worksheets to rank goals and strategies as
an individual and as a group. The worksheets were collected for the ranking of the goals, the
first worksheet ranking the best goals and second worksheet ranking the least favorable
goals. The results of the worksheets were presented at the workshop. The goals will be
presented at the next workshop in June.
