JOINT MEETING FOR THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
Mayor Fran Miron called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
ABSENT: None
PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: McRoberts, Moore, Rosenquist, Weidt and
Schumann
ABSENT: Bailly and Kleissler
STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan
Bear, Associate Planner Rachel Simone, Community Development Assistant Michele Lindau, and
City Planner Kendra Lindahl
2008 Comprehensive Plan Discussion Land Use
Lindahl gave a presentation on the future land use options for the City. The Council and
Planning Commission was presented with three future land use plans and discussed how to
they fit into the comprehensive plan for the City. The Council and Planning Commission
directed staff to draft a new future land use plan as a working document for their next joint
workshop. They also discussed the desires of residents for the future land uses of their own
properties.

The workshop adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
