COMMISSION JOINT MEETING FOR THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
Acting Mayor Petryk called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, and Puleo
ABSENT: Granger and Miron
PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Bailly, Kleissler, McRoberts, Moore, Rosenquist,
and Schumann
ABSENT: Weidt
STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan
Bear, Associate Planner Rachel Simone, Community Development Assistant Michele Lindau, City
Engineer Jay Kennedy, and City Planner Kendra Lindahl
2008 Comwehensive Plan Discussion Land Use
The City Planner gave a presentation on the working draft of the future land use plan for the
City. The Council and Planning Commission discussed what changes needed to the draft
plan to present at the September 6, 2007 Open House. The City Engineer gave a presentation
on the current infrastructure plan and asked the Council and Planning commission to discuss
the proposed changes. The Community Development Director gave a presentation on the
growth policy for the City and asked the Council and Planning Commission to discuss
growth management options for the City. The draft plans will be shown at the September 6,
2007 Open House.
