COMPREHENSIVE PLAN RURAL PLANNING POLICY
Mayor Fran Miron called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Haas, Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
ABSENT: None
PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Schumann
ABSENT: Bailly, Kleissler, McRoberts, Moore, Rosenquist and Weidt
STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan
Bear, Associate Planner Rachel Simone, Community Development Assistant Michele Lindau, and
City Planner Kendra Lindahl
2008 Comprehensive Plan Discussion on Rural Planning Policy
Bryan Bear, Community Development Director provided a PowerPoint presentation on how
rural planning relates to the 2008 Comprehensive Plan. After the presentation, the residents
were invited to go next door to the Oneka Room for a small group discussion exercise and a
comment sheet was provided by staff to fill out. After the small group discussion a
representative from each group spoke about what was discussed regarding rural planning.
Bryan Bear, Community Development Director thanks everyone for attending the workshop.
