I-35 CORRIDOR STUDY The next meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2005 at the Lino Lakes City Hall, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Traffic models have found preference to add capacity to the I-35 corridor in lieu of capacity improvements to parallel routes. NORTH METRO I -35W COALITION Bob Benke of CRP, Inc. explained organization and activities of 1-35W Corridor Coalition. Combined GIS and land use information has been helpful for all cities. A major traffic study was completed that recommended land use changes and infrastructure improvements to accommodate increased traffic. No plans with MnDOT to expand 35W through 2030. No transit ways planned — only buses. They are pushing for additional lanes and several interchange improvements. They operate with a $100,000 annual budget provided by member cities. Additional grant money has been provided. DISCUSSION OF CSAH 14 WIDENING PROJECT Centerville Mayor Mary Capra expressed concern about 21" Avenue's proximity to the interchange.
