DOWNTOWN DESIGN GUIDELINES
Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 8:53 am in the Oneka Room of Hugo City Hall.
PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
City Administrator Mike Ericson and CD Director Bryan Bear
City Planners Kendra Lindahl and Carolyn Krall from Landform
EDA: Jim Bever and Janice Arcand
DOWNTOWN DESIGN GUIDELINES
Carolyn Krall provided the Council, EDA, and staff with a Power Point presentation of the drab plan
for the Downtown Design Guidelines, along with the slideshow presentation, she referenced issues
and photographs from the paper copy. There were a number of questions raised and answered by
Carolyn Krall, but Council was pleased with the draft guidelines. Council supports a mixed-use
design in downtown. Copies will be made available to the other members of the EDA and a
presentation will be made to the Planning Commission on May 26, 2005. Carolyn was provided
with suggestions for the final draft. An Open House will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 for
residents and businesses.

Arcand made motion, Bever seconded, to adjourn the EDA at 10:00 am.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Granger made motion, Miron seconded, to adjourn the City Council at 10:00 am.
All aye. Motion Carried.
