Mayor Fran Miron called the lunch group meeting to order at 11:00 am.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Petryk, Haas, Miron
City Administrator Mike Ericson and CD Director Bryan Bear
ABSENT: Mike Granger and Frank Puleo
EDA PRESENT: Jan Arcand, Jim Bever, and Phil Klein
HBA PRESENT: Katie Riopel and Gaylen Carlson
Council called this meeting to allow attendance at an East Metro Economic Development Forum
held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Machine Shed restaurant in Lake Elmo.
The Washington County Workforce Chair Marc Cove welcomed everyone to the first-ever forum.
City representatives provided economic development overviews of their cities. CD Director Bryan
Bear gave a fine Power Point presentation of the City of Hugo. Keynote speakers were
Washington County Administrator Jim Schug and DEED Commissioner Matt Kramer.
The luncheon meeting adjourned at 1:00 pm.
