NIMS TRAINING
Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting/training session to order at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Miron
CD Director Bryan Bear; Building Official John Benson; and PW Director Chris Petree
ABSENT: Granger and Puleo
Assistant Training Officer Russ Frantum presented eight Power Point lessons of NIMS training
to Council, staff, and members of the Fire Department. All participants took a NIMS test and
everyone scored 100%.
Assistant Fire Chief Jadon 011ila shared an incident command board and presented a sample
resolution that should be adopted by Council to designate NIMS as its emergency management
system.
Mayor Miron called for adjournment of the NIMS training session at 9:00 pm.
