MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 16, 2004 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron City Administrator Michael Ericson; CD Director Bryan Bear; City Planner Kendra Lindahl; City Attorney Dave Snyder; City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Water Resource Engineer Pete Willenbring: Finance Director Ron Otkin; PW Director Chris Petree; Fire Chief Jim Compton; and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager ABSENT: Mike Granger APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 2.2004 Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Council meeting of August 2, 2004 as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MCES MEETING OF AUGUST 4.2004 Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the minutes for the MCES meeting of August 4, 2004 as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Add F.3 — Mayoral Guests from Canada Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for August 16, 2004 as amended. All aye. Motion Carried. CANDIDATE FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER (RAY DANINGER) Forest Lake resident Ray Daninger is seeking election as Hugo's representative on the Washington County Board and presented himself to Council, outlining his public service history. CANDIDATE FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER (MARC HUGUNIN) Grant resident Marc Hugunin is seeking election as Hugo's representative on the Washington County Board and presented himself to Council, outlining his public service history. Council member Chuck Haas thanked him for his assistance to the City while he served as Hugo's representative on the Met Council.
