APPLICANTS HELD ON DECEMBER 29.2003
Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
City Administrator Michael Ericson
PC Chairperson Dave Schumann
ABSENT: Mike Granger
PLANNING COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
The Hugo City Council conducted interviews with four applicants for the vacancy on the
Planning Commission created by the retirement of Teddy Peltier. Cindy Petty, Victoria
Hoftbeck, John Erickson, and Steve Andress were interviewed by the Council. The fifth
applicant, Dan Mader, was out of town and unable to attend, so he e-mailed his responses to the
five questions, which were asked of all applicants. Mayor Fran Miron and the Council expressed
its pleasure in having so many qualified candidates and repeat applicants. After discussion:
Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to appoint Victoria Hoftbeck to serve a three-year term on
the Planning Commission.
All aye. Motion Carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 9:28 pm.
