MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 19, 2002
<br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 9:10 am.
<br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron

<br />APPROVE 2003 CITY BUDGET
<br />Following the December 16, 2002 Truth in Taxation hearing and public comments received, the Council
<br />discussed funding of the Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau and the WBL Counseling Center and the
<br />service they provide to the youth of the City.
<br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, that the 2003 budget includes the following contributions: $3,200 to
<br />the Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau and up to $4,500 to the WBL Counseling Center.
<br />All aye. Motion Carried.
<br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-70 A RESOLUTION APPROVING
<br />THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,303,250 FOR THE 2003 FISCAL YEAR.
<br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-71 A RESOLUTION APPROVING
<br />FINAL TAX LEVY IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,406,690 PAYABLE IN 2003.
<br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-72 A RESOLUTION SETTING
<br />2003 SALARIES AND ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE REIMBURSEMENT LEVELS.
<br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-73 A RESOLUTION DECLARING
<br />UNPAID UTILITY BILLS FOR PLACEMENT ON TAX ROLLS.

<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-74 A RESOLUTION APPROVING
<br />THE ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENT OT THE TIF PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
<br />(REDEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT NO. 1-1
