Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Hugo City Hall.
PRESENT: Granger, Petryk, Puleo, Miron, and Councilman Haas via telephone.
City Administrator, Michael Ericson
City Attorney, Dave Snyder
Attorney Paul Haik and JD2 Plaintiffs and citizens
This meeting was called for the purpose of sharing with the public Judge Stephen Muehlberg's ruling
on the JD2 lawsuit. The City lost the trial because it did not exhaust its administrative remedies.
The Mayor passed the gavel to Council member Petryk and sat in the audience.
Paul Haik explained the legal aspects of the Judge's ruling. Council members asked a few questions.
Petryk made motion, Granger seconded, to go into executive session with plaintiffs.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
After entering into regular session, City Attorney Dave Snyder stated the decision by the City Council.
Mayor Miron returned to his chair.
Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 10:32 pm.
All aye. Motion Carried.
