Mayor Walter Stoltzman called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Barnes, Petryk, Stoltzman
City Administrator, Michael Ericson
City Engineer, Dave Mitchell
ABSENT: Haas and Leroux
SWEET GRASS MEADOWS DITCH PROJECT
The purpose of this meeting was to review the proposed ditch project, adjacent to Oneka Lake
Boulevard, with Sweet Grass Meadow subdivision residents. After review of the following
options established at the Neighborhood Meeting on September 7, 2000: 1) do nothing; 2) install
conduit pipe; 3) fill in two feet of ditch; 4) property owners do the work; 5) RCWD do rainwater
garden, i.e., Maplewood; and 6) the City do the work for free.
Barnes made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve Option 3, which was to place two feet of
earth in the bottom of the ditch.
All aye. Motion Carried.
The free earth fill may be taken from a vacant lot in the BEIP with grading provided for free by
the developer, Rocky Goertz. One resident inquired as to whether the City would approve and
reduce the size of the utility easements in residents' back yards.
BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL PARK
The City Engineer presented a proposal to Council from a local excavator, Chris Taylor. He
would grade Lot 1, Block 1, BEIP, for free, and give the City free fill /earth for the project.
Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this issue to the October 2, 2000 Council
meeting for further discussion.

Barnes made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 9:00 pm.
