Mayor Walter Stoltzman called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman
City Administrator, Michael Ericson
Planning Commission Chairman, Frank Puleo
Planning Commission Vice -Chair, Dave Schumann
The City Council, as well as Planning Commission representatives, interviewed applicants for
the Planning Commission vacancy. The seven candidates were: Cindy Petty; Scott Neamy; Pat
Rooney; Bob Rosenquist; Brad Naylor; Dave Buller; and Jeff Daub. After completion of the
interview process:
Haas made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to appoint Pat Rooney to the Hugo Planning
Commission. A thank you letter will be sent to all applicants.
All aye. Motion Carried.
SWEET GRASS MEADOWS DITCH PROJECT
At its October 2"d meeting, the Council tabled this issue until tonight's meeting. The Council
continued discussion of the ditch project, adjacent to Oneka Lake Boulevard; in particular, the
six ditch profile options submitted by the City Engineer.
Barnes made motion, Stoltzman seconded, authorizing staff to survey and verify elevations of
the trail, and legal implication of no deed for trail easement.
All aye. Motion Carried.
JD2 LITIGATION
Stoltzman made motion, Leroux seconded, to move into executive session at 7:55 pm.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Petryk made motion to tape the executive session. Motion failed for lack of second.
ADJOURN
Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to adjourn at 8:46 pm.
All aye. Motion Carried.
