Mayor Walter Stoltzman called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
PRESENT: Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman
City Administrator, Michael Ericson
Community Development Director, John Rask
Council -elect, Frank Puleo
ABSENT: Debra Barnes
The meeting was called to evaluate job performance of the City Administrator and contract employees.
CITY ADMINISTRATOR. MICHAEL ERICSON
The Hugo City Council evaluated the performance of the City Administrator for his six-month
probationary period. After discussion:
Haas made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve regular, full-time status of Mike Ericson as City
Administrator with the City of Hugo.
All aye. Motion Carried.
CITY ENGINEER, DAVE MITCHELL
The Hugo City Council evaluated the performance of the City Engineer over the past year.
Leroux made motion, Haas seconded, to recommend to the new City Council the annual appointment of
Dave Mitchell of SEH as the City Engineer.
All aye. Motion.Carried.
WATER RESOURCE ENGINEER, PETE WILLENBRING
The Hugo City Council evaluated the performance of the Water Resource Engineer over the past year.
Petryk made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to recommend to the new City Council the annual
appointment of Pete Willenbring of WSB as the City Water Resource Engineer.
VOTING AYE: Petryk and Stoltzman
VOTING NAY: Leroux and Haas
Motion Failed.
CITY ATTORNEY, DAVE SNYDER AND MARK VIERLING
The Hugo City Council evaluated the performance of the City Attorney over the past year.
Leroux made motion, Haas seconded, to recommend to the new City Council the annual appointment of
Dave Snyder of Eckberg Lammers Briggs Wolff & Vierling as the City Attorney.
All aye. Motion Carried.
