MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 17,1998 <br />The Mayor reconvened the recessed meeting of the City Council of December 14, 1998, at <br />9:00 a.m. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert A. Museus <br />Planning Commission members: Frank Puleo, Teddy Peltier, David Schumann, Ken <br />Rubenzer <br />The purpose of the meeting was to review the City's proposed Comprehensive Land Use <br />Regulations. Residents along Elmcrest Avenue and Everton Avenue, again expressed <br />concerns regarding the proposed zoning of the area to industrial and multi -family <br />purposes. The Council directed City Administrator to show the area planned for multi- <br />family use along the west side of Everton Avenue as an agricultural zone on the City's <br />new zoning map, and to prepare a multi -family overlay district for the area, similar to the <br />industrial overlay district planned for the east side of Ehncrest Avenue. <br />Those present then continued review of the proposed regulations, directing the City <br />Administrator to make corrections and minor changes to the document. <br />At approximately 3:30 p.m., Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to recess the meeting <br />until 9:00 am., December 21, 1998, at the Rice Lake Park Building to continue review of <br />the proposed comprehensive land use regulations. <br />All aye.
