The Mayor reconvened the recessed meeting of the City Council of December 14, 1998, at
9:00 a.m.
PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron
City Administrator, Robert A. Museus
Planning Commission members: Frank Puleo, Teddy Peltier, David Schumann, Ken
Rubenzer
The purpose of the meeting was to review the City's proposed Comprehensive Land Use
Regulations. Residents along Elmcrest Avenue and Everton Avenue, again expressed
concerns regarding the proposed zoning of the area to industrial and multi -family
purposes. The Council directed City Administrator to show the area planned for multi-
family use along the west side of Everton Avenue as an agricultural zone on the City's
new zoning map, and to prepare a multi -family overlay district for the area, similar to the
industrial overlay district planned for the east side of Ehncrest Avenue.
Those present then continued review of the proposed regulations, directing the City
Administrator to make corrections and minor changes to the document.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to recess the meeting
until 9:00 am., December 21, 1998, at the Rice Lake Park Building to continue review of
the proposed comprehensive land use regulations.
