The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miron at 8:10 PM.
PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, LaValle, Leroux, Miron
City Administrator, Robert Museus
OTHERS PRESENT: Walter Stolt man and David Schumann
This special meeting was called to discuss Council work: priorities. The
City Administrator provided the Council copies of the Council's .Last
priorities list, and a current "to do" task. list. He then provided a
brief update on the status of each task on the "to do" list, with the
Council discussing items of interest as they were brought up.
Substantial discussion was conducted regarding the deve.lopment of the new
Post Office and the Council's desire to keep the facility in Hugo. The
Administrator informed the Council that he would be meeting with
representatives of the Postal Service on January 1.8, 1995 to review
options for the facility, and the Council indicated an i.nt:.erest. in the
City taking a lead -role in its development.
Council. member Leroux requested that review of the City: s law enforcement
services be added to the task list.
Council member L_aValle requested adding a sanitary .sewer infiltration
assessment to the task list.
Mayor Miron asked that the City's staff prepare a worksheet for the
Council as an aid in prioritizing City projects, and to provide a copy to
each Council member prior to their next regular" meeting. After Council
completion of the worksheet, the Administrator is to tally the results and
prepare a priority list of City projects for Council approval.
Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adjourn at 10:50 PM.
