MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP <br />January 12, 2011 <br />C911 in nrdt'r <br />Chairman Gwynn called the workshop to order at 7:45 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Gwynn, Kleissler, Knauss, McRoberts, Rosenquist <br />ABSENT: Arcand, Moore <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director <br />Dennis Fields, Community Development Assistant <br />Rachel Juba, Planner <br />2012 Goal Setting <br />The Planning Commission discussed its goals for 2011 and set additional goals for 2012. <br />2012 Planning Commission Goals <br />• Review of the downtown plan <br />• Study and plan the northern gateway (170th and TH 61) <br />o Grant opportunities <br />• Zoning ordinance updates <br />o Staff to provide list <br />• Bus Tour <br />• Connection of trail systems to commercial areas <br />o Victor Gardens, Downtown, Northern Gateway <br />• Stormwater Plan / Stormwater CIP <br />• Eastern Hugo sewer study <br />• PC Training <br />o Planning Commissioner seminars <br />o Staff -led workshops to discuss procedures, land -use, zoning, etc. <br />The Planning Commission suggested that staff prepare an overview of the Hugo Downtown <br />Master Plan, Downtown Design Guidelines, and the Maxfield Research Study for review and <br />discussion by the Planning Commission. <br />Adiournment <br />Rosenquist motioned, Kleissler seconded, to adjourn. <br />All Ayes, motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />Rachel Juba, Planner <br />
