HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
July 12, 2012
Call to Order
Chairman Gwynn called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.
PRESENT: Arcand, Gwynn, Kleissler, Knauss, Rosenquist
ABSENT: McRoberts
ALSO PRESENT: Rachel Juba, Planner
Liz Hanson, Community Development Intern
Approval of Minutes
Arcand made motion, Kleissler seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of
June 28, 2012, with revisions.
All Ayes, motion carried.
Glamos Wire Products — Site Plan
Planner, Rachel Juba, presented to the Planning Commission the Site Plan for Glamos Wire
Products Warehouse Building Addition located at 5564 152"d Street. The applicant is requesting
a site plan approval for a 22,283 square foot warehouse addition. The addition will be attached
to an existing building in the Peloquin Industrial Park.
Juba presented the topics of construction, parking, landscaping, screening, architecture and
building material, and stormwater management and utilities. She informed the Commission that
the site plan meets all the ordinance standards for building setbacks, building height, building
and impervious surface coverage, landscaping, lighting, screening, parking, architecture, and
stormwater management. She stated that two parking spaces, shown as proof of parking, would
need to be relocated on the site plan, and that staff will continue to work with the applicant on
the location. She concluded that proposed building addition will be an improvement to the
Peloquin Industrial Park. She recommended that the Commission approve the site plan for a
22,283 square foot warehouse addition for Glamos Wire Products located at 5564 152nd Street as
presented.
Representatives were in the audience to represent Glamos Wire Products. Chairman Gwynn
welcomed them to add anything to Juba's presentation. No one felt the need to comment.

Chairman Gwynn asked for the Commission feedback.
Rosenquist stated that he did not have any issues with the proposed site plan. He believed that
the addition would enhance the area.
Rosenquist made motion, Arcand seconded, to approve the site plan for the Glamos Wire
Products building addition.
Adjournment
Rosenquist motioned, Kleissler seconded, to adjourn at 7:20 pm.
All Ayes, motion carried.
