MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />October 13, 2011 <br />Call to Order <br />Vice Chair Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Kleissler, McRoberts, Rosenquist <br />ABSENT: Gwynn, Moore <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director <br />Dennis Fields, Community Development Assistant <br />Rachel Juba, Planner <br />Approval of Minutes of September 22, 2011 <br />McRoberts made motion, Rosenquist seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br />September 22, 2011. <br />All Ayes, motion carried. <br />Bergman — Minor Subdivision <br />Planner, Rachel Juba, explained the application to the Planning Commission. The property is <br />zoned Future Urban Service (FUS) and is currently 20 acres in size. The request is to subdivide <br />into two 10 acre parcels. Staff recommended approval of the minor subdivision. <br />McRoberts asked why we are using the previous regulations for this application. <br />Rachel stated that she has been working with the applicant before the July 1, 2011 deadline, so <br />staff is recommending that the applicant be allowed to subdivid under the previous regulations. <br />Kleissler opened the public hearing. <br />Kleissler closed the public hearing. <br />McRoberts asked the tax value of the parcel being subdivided, as he felt the park dedication <br />seemed high. <br />Bergman, the applicant, wasn't certain but approximated around $310,000. <br />Rosenquist made a motion, McRoberts seconded, to approve the minor subdivision application. <br />All Ayes, motion carried. <br />
