Call to Order <br />Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Bailly, Kleissler, Malaski, McRoberts, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />ABSENT: Peltier <br />ALSO PRESENT: Kendra Lindahl, Planner <br />Michele Lindau, Planning Commission Secretary <br />Minutes for Planning Commission Meeting May 9, 2002 <br />Malaski made motion, Bailly seconded, to recommend approval of the minutes for May 23, 2002 <br />as submitted. <br />All ayes. Motion carried. <br />Discussion on Commercial & Residential Site Design <br />Rick Harrison, from Harrison Site Design Studio, appeared before the Planning Commission to <br />share his neighborhood and commercial site designs. Mr. Harrison had won a number of awards <br />for his work and had developed some unique neighborhoods and commercial centers. <br />Harrison shared his ideas on cove developments, bay homes, and connective neighborhood <br />designs. <br />Discussion on Transfer of Development Rights (Joint Meeting with the City Council) <br />Steve Hobbs, Rice Creek Watershed District Administrator, shared with the Council and <br />Commission his professional background and extensive experiences with Transfer of <br />Development Right programs. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to direct staff to include this item at future meetings. <br />All ayes. Motion carried. <br />
