MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MARCH 13, 2001 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairperson Schumann called the meeting of the Hugo Planning Commission of March 13, 2001 to order at <br />7:10 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Kleissler, Peltier, Rooney, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />ALSO PRESENT: Secretary, Michele Lindau <br />Consultant, Dennis Rosemark <br />ABSENT: Malaski, McRoberts <br />Minutes of March 13, 2001 <br />Kleissler made motion, Rosenquist seconded, to approve the Planning Commission minutes of February 28, <br />2001, as amended. <br />All AYES: Motion carried. <br />Proposed Changes to the Zoning Ordinance <br />Dennis Rosemark, Rosemark Consulting reviewed draft zoning ordinance updates with the Planning <br />Commission. These updates included an expanded list of permitted, accessory, and conditional uses for all the <br />commercial and industrial zoning districts, which staff found to be consistent with the purpose and other <br />allowed uses of the individual districts. <br />The Planning Commission also briefly discussed changes to the requirements of home occupations, and <br />regulation of non -conforming buildings, structures, uses, and lots. <br />The Commission felt additional time was needed to discuss the proposed updates, and agreed additional <br />meetings would be necessary in order to remain on schedule with this project. <br />Adiournment <br />At 10:10 pm, Rooney made motion, Peltier seconded, to recess until Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at 7:00 pm. <br />All AYES.
