MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />October 30, 2001 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Kleissler, Peltier, Rooney, Rosenquist, Schumann <br />Malaski arrived at 7:10 <br />ALSO PRESENT: John Rask, Community Development Director <br />ABSENT: McRoberts <br />Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance <br />Over the past few months the Planning Commission reviewed and initiated changes to the City Zoning <br />Ordinance and zoning map. At the last regular scheduled Planning Commission meeting, the Commission <br />scheduled this special meeting for an extended discussion on the proposed changes. <br />The draft ordinance incorporated a new format that would allow the City to easily make changes to the <br />document in the future. Other proposed changes are the addition of new residential zoning districts and changes <br />to the permitted, accessory, and conditional uses for each district. <br />The Community Development Director provided the Commission an overview of the work to date, answered <br />question from the Commission and participated in the.discussion on the proposed changes. <br />Malaski made motion, Kleissler seconded, to recommend council approve the draft zoning ordinance with <br />changes made this evening. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Schumann made motion, Peltier seconded, to adjourn at 8:40 p.m. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />John Rask, <br />Community Development Director <br />
