MINUTES FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF 4-1-98 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Peltier at 7:05 P.M. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Rubenzer, Kellison, Malaski, Puleo <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Administrator, Bob Museus <br />Kellison arrived at 7:45 P.M. <br />Rubenzer arrived at 8:00 P.M. <br />ABSENT: Schumann, Harrison <br />Future roads between 147th St. and 165th St. west of Oneka Lake Boulevard <br />Residents, the Planning Commission, the City Administrator, and City Engineer, gathered <br />at City Hall to consider the options for future road construction between 147th Street and <br />165th Street, west of Oneka Lake Boulevard, initiated by several property owners' desire <br />to develop in the area. <br />After much discussion the following decision was made: <br />The collector street entrance to the development will be from Oneka Lake Boulevard and <br />head north near the section line between Section 16 and Section 17, taking into <br />consideration the location of existing residents on Oneka Lake Boulevard, and the <br />potential of extending the road in the future. The road will proceed North parallel to the <br />existing Northern States Power easement, then curve to the west through the Peloguin <br />property to T.H. 61. In addition, this will allow for a future collector street connection to <br />the north through the Arcand property. <br />Kellison made motion, Peltier seconded, to direct Tom Angus, City Engineer, to address <br />concerns of individuals and work with the parties involved to develop a sketch plan of the <br />area. <br />All AYES. <br />Motion passed. <br />Kellison made motion, Sandy seconded, to adjourn at 8:30 P.M. <br />All AYES. <br />Motion passed. <br />,1 I l� � i�c� <br />Michele Lindau, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />
