October 28, 1992
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Peltier at 7:00PM.
PRESENT: Mezzano, Davis, Agness, Rubenzer, Oswald, Olson, Peltier, Bob
Museus, Carole LaBelle
Motion made by Davis, seconed by Mezzano to approve the minutes of
september 23, 1992 as amended.
All aye, motion passed.
Motion made by Oswald to approve the minutes of october 14, 1992 as
amended.
All aye, motion passed.
SUBDIVISION REQUEST - N. MARIER
Narcisse and LuVerne Marier have made an application to subdivide their
property located at 5801 147th St. North into two parcels. The Marier's
property is equally divided by Foxhill Ave. with their homestead located
on the eastern portion of their property. It is their intent to sell the
western portion to a relative for the construction of a home. The parcel
to be created in this subdivision exceeds the minimum requirements for lot
size in a single family unit district, but is 9.5" short of the required
lot width. The Marier's have also requested exemption from the City's
parkland dedication. Given the existing residential use of the adjoining
properties and the definition of the parcel to be created by existing
public roads, the staff recommends approval of the subdivision request.
Motion made by Olson, seconded by Agness to recommend approval of the
subdivision request of Lu and Narcisse Marier to subdivide .76 acres into
two residential lots, subject to payment of one parkland dedication fee.
All aye, motion passed.
Motion made by Mezzano, seconded by Olson to change the Planning
Commission meeting dates from November 25, to the 18th and December 23 to
16th.
All aye, motion passed.
Motion made by Oswald, seconded by Davis to recommend to the City Council
to adopt the Comprehensive Plan Development Guide as a basis for revising
the comprehensive plan.
AYE: Davis, Agness, Rubenzer, Oswald, Olson, Peltier
ABSTAIN: Mezzano
Motion passed.
Motion made by Rubenzer, seconded by Agness to recommend to the City
Council to schedule another workshop for comp plan review.
