OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
March 26, 1986
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Atkinson at 7:OOPM.
PRESENT: Bob Olson, RayOlson, Schoeller, Atkinson
ABSENT: Granger, Fashingbauer, Rudisill
Motion made by Bob Olson, seconded by Atkinson to approve the Minutes of March
12, 1986, with the following correction;
under LaMetti - last word should be decision. All aye, motion carried.
The regular meetingwas recessed and the public hearing called to order at 7:06 PM.
Cyril LaCasse - Public hearing - Charlie LaCasse presented a drawing of the pro-
posed three lots. He was informed that a survey of the property is still neeeded.
Grace Jackson, 4970 130th St. was present to examine the plans for subdivision.
The public hearing was closed and the regular meeting was reconvened at 7:27PM.
Atkinson made motion, second by Schoeller to recommend approval of the application
for subdivision by Cyril LaCasse to divide approximately 40 acres into three
parcels with the following conditions;
1. Certificate of Survey be provided to the council prior to final action.
2. Howard Kuusisto be asked to make comments regarding drainage.
3. Appropriate deposit to cover any engineering fees.
4. Planning commission recommends waiving the hardshell requirement for the
following reasons;
A. Current zone
B. Size of the lots
C. No city services are provided to the subdivison.
All aye, motion carried.
Cal Garley - Mr. Garley presented his plan including four lots with parcel E
to include the wetland area to the south. Mr. Atkinson informed Mr. Garley
he'd have to provide more specific information such as, size and location of
existing sewer and water mains, grades, catch basins, topographic data and
a name for the plat.
Motion made by Schoeller, seconded by Ray Olson to recommend tabling the
Garley request until further information is provided, April 9, 1986.
ATkinson moves to amend the previous motion to read, "table until the clerk
is notified to place this item on the agenda", second by Bob Olson.
All aye, motion carried.
Original motion vote: All aye, motion carried.

on 170th St. between Hwy 61 and 35E. He owns ten acres in the Agriculture zone.
Tom Crever is to be contacted to report on the feasibility of the concept and
what restriction would be placed on such an arrangement (temporary cert. of occ.
amount of completion needed to be lived in, allowable in code). Clerk
will contact Mr. Crever to attend a meeting with Mr. Long and Mr. Atkinson during
the regular meeting of the City Council of April 7, 1986, 7:OOPM.
Motion to adjourn made by Ray Olson, seconded by Schoeller at 8:28PM.
