PRESENT: Bob Olson, Ray Olson, Rudisill, Atkinson ABSENT: Fashingbauer, Schoeller Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Bob Olson to approve the Minutes of May 28, 1986 with the following correction; Under Anderson Construction; 20 to 23 truckloads per day. All aye, motion carried. The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing for Lemay was called at order at 7:07PM. George LeMay Subdivision - There was no public in attendance to comment. The public hearing adjourned and the regular meeting reconvened at 7:19PM. Mr. LeMay would like to divide ten acres from approximately 80 acres zoned Ag. Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Ray Olson to recommend approval of the subdivision for George LeMay, 9296 130th St. to divide two ten acre parcels with following conditions; 1. A certificate of survey indicate a 60' roadway easement dedicated on or near the line of the SE I of the SE J of the SW i of the SEt with such curves as are necessary. Also that the easement be legally granted in favor of the City of Hugo. All aye, motion carried. Atkinson made motion, seconded by Rudisill to recommend that the subdivision be approved by Certificate of Survey and legal description as opposed to a plat. All aye, motion carried. The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing for Miron was called to order at 7:31PM. George Miron Subdivision - Mr. Miron plan to divide sixty acres from 160 acres at Ingersoll and 170th St. Roger Schadt, 16842 Ingersoll Ave. NO.was present and concerned with the number of lots being created. He was assured that there was only one lot's%e subdivided, not six. The public hearing was closed and the regular meeting reconvened at 7:45PM. Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Bob Olson to recommend approval of the subdivision for George Miron, 8824 170th St. to divide sixty acres from a total of 160 acres in the agriculture and conservancy zones, with the following conditions; 1. A 30' easement should be providedto the City running east to west for the extension of 165th . All aye, motion carried. Planning Commission Minutes June 11, 1986 page 2 Miron Cont. Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Atkinson to recommend approval with legal description and certificate of survey as opposed to a plat. All aye, motion carried. The regular meeting was recessed and the Schotl public hearing was called to order at 8:02PM. Ken and Barb Schotl Public hearing - There was no public attending to comment. The public hearing was closed and the regular meeting reconvened at 8:10PM. Schotl's own approximately 53 acres and propose to divide 20 acres and retain 33 acres. The property is currently recorded as three parcels, they would combine these and divide according to the diagram on file. Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to recommend approval of the subdivision for Ken and Barb Schotl, 9351 130th St. to divide 20 acres from 53 acres to create two parcels a 20± acre and a 33± acre. All aye, motion carried. Atkinson made motion, seconded by Ray Olson to recommend approval of the subdivision by certificate of survey and legal description unless a plat or registered land survey is necessary to combine the three parcels and resubdivide into 2 parcels All aye, motion carried. Jerry Thibault - Mr. Thibault recently purchased the sixty acre parcel from George Miron at Ingersoll and 165th. He would like to construct a 60 X 300 pole building for his horses, the building is 200' from the road and his residence (under construction) is approximately 300' from the road. Because there is no limit on accessory buildings on parcels over 20 acres and horse farms and training facilities are permitted in the Ag. and Conservancy zones the commission did not feel an SUP is necessary. Ray Olson made motion, seconded by Bob Olson to recommend approval of the site plan and variance for Jerry Thibault, Ingersoll Ave. to construct a 60 X 300 building closer to the road than the principal building. All aye, motion carried. Howard Moe and Cal Garley - Rice Creek Watershed District and Howard Kuusisto have approved the drainage plan submitted by Moe/Garley, however more information is still needed to complete the preliminary plan for subdivision.
