OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
September 24, 1986
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Atkinson at 7:00 PM.
PRESENT: Schoeller, Ray Olson, Bob Olson, Rudisill, Atkinson
ABSENT: Fashingbauer
Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to approve the minutes of
September 10 with the following corrections;
under Nick MIller, "near Bald Eagle Lake", Miller motion made by Atkinson,
seconded by Rudisill. Motion for adjournment made by Bob Olson, seconded
by Fashingbauer. All aye, motion carried.
The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing opened at 7:05 PM.
Vizenor - public hearing - Mr. Vizenor is subdividing 13.6 acres which
has previously been built on but not formally subdivided.
Teh public hearing was closed and the regular meeting reconvened at 7:18PM.
Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to recommend approval of
the subdivision application by Gary Vizenor, Gary & Marlene Mogren
9924 140th St. to divide 13.6 acres from 252 acres as per survey pending
receipt of an application signed by the fee owner or owners as listed ;
Elsie Striech, Gary & Marlene Mogren, Gerald & Arlene Mogren, Adeline Hansen
and Neoma Jeans, Richard Schreier, and Gary Vizenor.
Aye: Ray Olson, JBob Olson, Rudisill, Atkinson. Nay: Schoeller.
Dick and Mike Brandt - The informed the commission that 110 trees have been
planted,the items in front of the fence have been removed and a fence has
been erected to conceal cars near the building. Test well samples have
been received from Cerco Lab. however no one is able to analyze the results.
Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Schoeller to recommend that the council
act positively on the annual review for 1986 for Brandts. All aye, motion
carried.
Atkinson made motion, seconded by Schoeller to recommend to the Council that
the water sample results be forwarded to Curt Sparks or the water quality
specialist at PCA and inquire;
1. Are any of the chemicals in the report of such magnitude that they warrant
further consideration.
2. If further consideration is indicated which tests whould be performed.
All aye, motion carried.
Mr. Atkinson noted that for approximately 5 years this license has been
reviewed and at no previous time has such progress been made in the appear-
ance of the area. The City thanks the Brandts for their cooperation.
Motion made by R. Olson, seconded by Atkinson to recommend that the annual
review be scheduled to take place the first meeting in September of each year.
All aye, motion carried.
Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Schoeller to adjourn at 8:20PM.
