OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
June 26, 1985
The regular meeting was called oto order by Chairman Lorch at 7:05 PM.
PRESENT: Schoeller, Atkinson, Granger, Rudisill, Lorch, T. Peltier
ABSENT: Fashingbauer, Olson
Atkinson made motion, seconded by Rudisill to approve the minutes of June
12, 1985 after the following correction;
Horton... PCA recomiended monitoring wells.
All aye, motion catried.
Jean Turner - Site Plan Approval - Ms. Turner is in the process of building
a new home and would like to simultaneously construct a 42 x 60 pole building.
The pole building would be closer to the road than the principle building.
Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Lorch to add the request for a variance to
the agenda. All aye, motion carried.
Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Granger to recommend approval of the Site
Plan and Variance for construction of a 42'x 60' steel building for Jean 'Varner
as per site plan submitted. All aye, motion carried.
Gilbert and Evelyn Regnier - Rezoning request - Regniers own property on Elm -
crest and would like to rezone to RR2 from Ag. A public hearing was scheduled
for July 24, 7:05 PM.
Marlene Mogren - Special Use Permit - Ms. Mogren would like to use her hone
as a transitional hone for battered women. Privacy is an important aspect of
the shelter, therefore they requested that no public hearing be scheduled.
Ms. Mogren stated she would supply letters of approval from surrounding
neighbors. This item will be on the July 10 Planning CoTnission meeting.
Fred Hummel - Site Plan Approval - Mr. Hummel owns five acres in the Conser-
vancy zone and would like to construct a 32 x 50 pole building. All re-
quirements are met.
Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Schoeller to recomiend approval of the 32 x
50 pole builiding for Fred Hummel, 7225 Oneka Lake Blvd. All aye, motion carried.
Motion made by Rudisill to adjourn at 8:25 PM second by Granger. All aye,
motion carried.
