OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
June 27, 1984
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Lorch at 7:03 PM.
PRESENT: Schoeller, Atkinson, Fashingbauer, Lorch, Potts, Rudisill, Council-
woman Peltier.
ABSENT: Olson
Atkinson made motion, seconded by Rudisill to approve the Minutes of June 13
after the following correction;
increase in bacteria count, (change from algae). All aye, motion carried.
LLOYD SATHRE - Special use permit - Mr. Sathre has six cows at the present time.
He was unaware of the need for a special use permit. His application has been
received by the clerk's office. Mr. Sathre stated the cows are generally kept
away from the lake (Sunset) a distance of at least 300'. A public hearing has
been scheduled for July 25, 1984 at 7:05 PM.
JOE GLAMOS - Site Plan Approval and Variance - Mr. Glamos presented his plans to
construct a 30' x 200' addition to the east side of his present building. In
1982 Rice Creek Watershed approved the plans for construction for the future
and Glamos has applied for the updating of his permit. The meeting was recessed
at 7:42 PM to view the property. The drainage and septic was originally instal-
led to accommodate the future building. The meeting was reconvened at 8:00 PM.
Motion made by Potts, seconded by Schoeller to recommend approval of the Site
Plan and Variance of 30" for Joe Glamos for construction of a 20' x 300' addi-
tion with the following recoirmndations;
1. There shall be no storage and or parking or driving on the east side
adjacent to the new construction.
2. Drainage from the new roof be directed into the existing holding pond.
3. The owner comply with any and all restrictions from Rice Creek Watershed.
AYE: Schoeller, Fashingbauer, Potts, Rudisill, Lorch.
NAY: Atkinson.
Cary Weisner is interested in purchasing one acre from Roy Molitor who owns 22
acres on 140th and Highway 61. The property is currently zoned Industrial.
Mr. Weisner would build an auto body shop, specializing in customized street
rods and converting handicap vans. The genral concensus of the Planning Com-
mission was that this would be an acceptable use with a Special Use Permit.
Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Rusidill to adjourn at 9:00 PM.
All aye, motion carried.
