HUGO PLANNING C01,3ISSION
May 9, 1984
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Lorch at 7:02PTI.
PRESENT: Schoeller, A-tkinson, Fashingbauer, Potts, Lorch, Rudisill,
Olson.
Motion made by Potts, seconded by Fashingbauer to approve the minutes
of the meeting o:' April 25, 1984 as submitted. All aye, motion
carried.
RICHARD SCHUH — Mr. Schuh submitted the mining applicationsfor
the Duraine Gravel Pit and the Goiffon Pit, however there is no
activity at either site. Rudisill made motion, seconded by Schoeller
to recommend approval of the Mining Permit for Richard Schuh with
the existing conditions. All aye, motion carried.
Eugene Fischer — No application was received. He will be added
to the agenda for May 23, 1984.
BALD EAGLE SPORTSrAN ASSOCIATION — Mr. Arthur Timm submitted the
club's plans to extend their facility to 200 yards. A public
hearing has been scheduled for June 13, 1984 at 7:05 P1,.
VERN PELOQUIN — Mr. Peloquin would like to divide a lot approxi—
mately 1.4 acres to be sold to Dick.Olson of Regal Plastics.
Motion made by Potts, seconded by .Atkinson to recommend approval
of the minor subdivision for Vern Peloquin for lot 13 (drawing
dated 7-22-74 and 8-10-74) for the purpose of;
1. Selling it to Mr. Dick Olson.
2. eliminating property line between lots 12 and 13 which
is necessary for enlarging present building on lot 12.
3. Any new development must Rice Creek ',,ratershed approval.
All aye, notion carried.
George Lindy — Dr. Lindy would like to use Egg Lake for an
American '-Dater Ski Association competition, to be held June 9.
This lake was considered because of the lack of traffic on the
lake by area residents. Dr. Lindy stated he would brovide a
letter of approval from the Hugo bank to use their parking lot
and grassy area. 1!otion made by Potts, seconded by Atkinson
to recommend approval of the Special use Permit for George Lindy
for a water ski contest on Egg Lake with the Following conditions;

1. r:'ust be responsible and liable for shore line damage.
2. THours being 8:00 M to 6:00 PM.
>. One speed boat and two safety boats operating at one time.
4. Provide the City of Hugo with a1,000 letter of credit or
equivalent to cover any clean up costs.
5. Rope off neighbor to the south of the banks property to keep
spectators off.
6. T:�o beer or alcoholic beverages to be allowed.
7. <Ipplicant to provide the City with DrTR approval.
8. Contact Hugo Lion's Club regarding possible conflicts and make
these if any known to the Hugo City Council.
