P''ESENT: Potts, Atkinson, Olson, Rudisill, Mayor McAllister ABSENT: Lorch, Schoeller, Fashingbauer Potion made by Atkinson, seconded by TZ.udisill to approve the minutes of March 14, 1984 as submitted. All aye. Motion carried. The regular Planning Commission meeting was recessed at 7:04. and the public hearing was called to order. ARNOLD ''.1LT:E - Public hearing - Mike Geir representing Tyr. Palme presented their plan to rezone approximately 20 acres from agri- culture to RR2. It was determined that the residential use would be compatible with comprehensive plan. Mr. Don Lease informed Mr. Geir that there is a drainage pipe running from the low area to the lake. The public hearing was closed at 7:20 PM. The regular meeting was reconvened at 7:21 PM. 11otion made by Atkinson, second by Olson to recommend approval of the rezoning of approximately 20 acres from Ag. to RR2 for Arnold Palme. 1YE: Atkinson, Rudisill, Olson, Potts. :111 aye, motion carried. TODD OSTERBAU._R - Julie Osterbauer provided a Site Plan of their intention to remove an old barn and replace with a 24 X 30 garage. Motion made by Olson, second by Rudisill to recommend approval of the Site Plan for Todd Osterbauer as per plan dated 3/28/84. All aye, motion carried. GERALD SHULL - r°r. Shull would like to construct a metal building to be used as a machine shed. It was determined he would need a Special Use Permit because he exceeds the 3600 sq. ft. limit allowed for accessory buildings. Potts made motion, second by Rudisill to recommend approval of the Special Use permit for Gerald Shull to construct an all :steel storage shed with the following condition, 1) the exterior be painted similar in color to his existing buildings. DAR=RELL G.RIINGE'R - Mr. Granger would like to build a 20 X 28 add- ition to the body shop at 14797 Forest Blvd. He would exceed the 401 setback and is asking for a 20' variance. The exterior siding would be identical_ and the roof line would remain the same. T"otion made by 0]_son, second by Potts to recommend approval of of 20' variance to the setback line for Darrell Granger as per Hugo Planning Commission March 28, 1984 page 2 Darrell Granger — cont.
